In terms of marketing, Sporting Index is currently undergoing a period of exciting change; they are looking to grow and evolve both the digital and direct marketing output.
Analytical yet creative, with an affinity for data, you will have previous experience of working on PPC, SEO, affiliate and online display advertising campaigns. You will have a track record of driving ROI via digital and direct marketing channels.
Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape; you will be fully up-to-speed with all the latest technologies and advances in the digital marketing world, particularly with regard to SEM and affiliate marketing.
You will get' CRM techniques and have a passion for informing marketing decisions using the insight you deliver. The need to measure marketing will be part of your mind set and you will be driven by results.
You will be a very strong communicator, both written and verbally and ideally have a passion for sport.
As a core part of the marketing team, you will be supporting the Digital and Direct Marketing Manager on all activity. Working on both acquisition and retention, you will be well versed in digital marketing techniques such as SEO, PPC, affiliates and display as well as eCRM marketing.
What we're looking for
- A good understanding of digital marketing measurement, PPC, SEO, affiliates etc.
- Experience in using online analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture or Coremetrics.
- An understanding of core direct marketing principles - segmentation, CRM, customer journey etc.
- Excellent communicator: must have the ability to turn complex reports into clear and concise communications.
