Currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity of Marketing Manager, SEO Content to work for a leading organisation in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
As Marketing Manager, SEO Content, you will lead the strategic planning and production of content to drive SEO ranking benefit against set KPI's (traffic, links and rankings) This involves understanding what content is being created that can be used for SEO value as well as leading on content creation to drive visibility in natural search rankings.
You will play a key role within a newly set up SEO team. You will be responsible for, and targeted on, driving organic search traffic to websites by producing engaging content and making sure this content drives SEO ranking benefit against set KPI's. You will work with internal teams from Marketing, social media and PR to produce engaging and relevant content and will then work with the web team to ensure the new content fits the correct look and feel on the website.
You will be passionate around digital and 'get' the Internet; especially the different types of content users finds useful and most importantly, like to share. You will have hands on experience of using different social networks and have an interest in how to make things go viral.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF MARKETING MANAGER, SEO CONTENT
-Work with external agencies to strategically plan content that will deliver against campaign KPIs, ie links, social citations, rankings and traffic
-Understand what content is successful not only within the telecom vertical but also wider industries
-Coordinate and manage the production of content, taking on strategic content production
-Strategically shape how content is hosted and appears on the website
-Be responsible for sourcing and co-ordinating content produced internally that can drive SEO benefit
-Have awareness of current trends to spot tactical opportunities for content
-Work alongside external agencies to support the distribution of content
-Provide updates on the performance of content performance created to support campaign objectives
-Build relationships with various stakeholders to ensure content is brand compliant and consistent with wider marketing communications
-Collaboratively work with the Brand, Integrated Comms, PR, Social, Support teams and external agencies to ensure successful distribution of content
-Manage one Content Executive
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
-Have a track record in delivering content for a recognised household brand
-Have an understanding of/experience of the guiding principles of SEO
-Strong influencing skills - a proven ability to sell in ideas and make them happen
-A natural creative and curious mind-set - ability to continuously offer new ideas
-Great communicator - able to articulate and translate ideas
-Experience of working with bloggers - either directly or indirectly
-Solid social presence - or involvement with social channels
-Exceptional Copywriting skills
-Experience in a digital environment
-Campaign planning and execution skills
-Analytical with commercial and business awareness
