A newly created role for a creative thinking PR Manager has been identified by a leading specialist retailer, based in Cheshire.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering the retailer's PR strategy, generating PR content for use both online and offline. The aim of your role will be to raise the profile of the brand, drive footfall to the stores and traffic to their eCommerce site. You will be developing and maintaining effective working relationships with trade and consumer magazines, online media and blogger communities.
This is a fantastic, autonomous role for a confident, ambitious PR professional, ideally with a genuine passion for and involvement in music. As a new role for the business, the level they will consider is flexible, depending on experience, however this is a hands-on role and you must enjoy delivering PR activity as well as planning. You will have demonstrable ability of developing new ideas, utilising your genuine creativity to generate publicity for brands. Experience of working for, or with retailers would be beneficial.
