My client is an integrated agency in Marlow and they are looking for a Digital Development Architect. Reporting to the Digital Services Director, the Development Architect will manage the clients’ digital requirements, working through agreed briefs to ensure exceptional quality and service delivery, within the agency’s profitability targets. Working with chosen suppliers or bringing on board competencies in new disciplines, you will be responsible for bringing together client requirements and service competencies. Therefore a thorough understanding of technical possibilities, limitations and
terminology is required which will facilitate a seamless client relationship.

Digital services will include technical development (apps, web, mobile and new channels), interface design, eCommerce, Social, SEO/SEM and
consultancy. This will include developing and maintaining a reliable, quality network of freelance resource and third party suppliers. You will build excellent relationships at all levels with the agency’s digital clients, with a deep understanding of their business that enables the agency to add
real business value. You will ensure that the agency recommends the most appropriate solution to each client’s requirements. A core requirement of the role will be to take those requirements and turn into a conclusive brief and subsequent project specification, within the client’s budget.

You will also maintain a keen knowledge of industry, technology and marketing trends, being able to introduce new leading-edge services with
chosen providers. You will aid the training of the agency team on digital services and how to implement the latest technologies and services to the benefit of the clients. You will also be help develop and maintain the agency’s website.

In summary you will have:
Minimum 3-4 years relevant working experience
Extensive knowledge of development typology including .net, C#, .php
Extensive knowledge of front end coding inclusive of HTML5,CSS3 for responsive design and JavaScript
Extensive experience of taking client requirements and building a comprehensive, functional and technical brief
Track record working within SEO/SEM, Social Media & eCommerce is advantageous
Experience of working within a design/development environment is advantageous
Proven record in building relationships across teams, both internal and external, and is able to communicate with conviction
