My client is a new integrated agency based in South Buckinghamshire and they are looking for a specialist Digital Services Manager. You will be reporting to the Digital Services Director, and as the Online Specialist you will manage clients’ digital requirements, working through agreed briefs to
ensure exceptional quality and service delivery, within the agency’s profitability targets. Working with client teams, using your own initiative and chosen suppliers, you will be responsible for managing existing and new client projects and BAU activities. Therefore a thorough understanding of client processes, technical possibilities, limitations and terminology is required which will facilitate a seamless client relationship.
Digital services will include technical development (apps, web, mobile and new channels), interface design, eCommerce, Social, SEO/SEM and
consultancy including undertaking day-to-day activities on behalf of the client. Developing and maintaining a reliable, quality network of freelance
resource and third party suppliers is a vital responsibility of the team. You will build excellent relationships at all levels with the agency’s digital
clients, with a deep understanding of their business that enables us to add real business value. You will ensure that the agency recommends the
most appropriate solution to each client’s requirements. A core requirement of the role will be to quickly understand what day-to-day
services can be delivered for the client and providing quality of service in their delivery.
You will also maintain a keen knowledge of industry, technology and marketing trends, being able to introduce new leading-edge services with
chosen providers. You will aid the training of the agency team on digital services and how to implement the latest technologies and services to the benefit of the clients. You will also help to develop and maintain the agency’s website.
Minimum 3-4 years relevant working experience
Thorough working knowledge of CMS systems and processes, API/web service flow, SSO, basics of HTML and script coding, design and development architecture. Any skills in this area is advantageous but not a necessity.
Track record working with SEO/SEM, Social Media & eCommerce is advantageous
Experience of working within a design/development environment is advantageous
Working within varying client environments is advantageous
Proven record in building relationships across teams, both internal and external, and is able to communicate with conviction
