Senior Account Manager

A dynamic Account Manager with a number of years agency experience, for a Birmingham based agency offering print, media and digital solutions to their wide client base. It is essential for this role that you have a great understanding of B2B, so experience of handling and communicating with the trade sector such as Plumbing, Building and DIY. You will be joining the company at an exciting stage of their development.
The position will involve working on B2B accounts, covering all forms of activity including advertising, DM, POS, catalogues and packaging. The successful person will report into the Account Director. Ideally, you already be working as an Senior Account Manager, however, if you are a talented Account Manager looking to make the step up to SAM, then please get in touch. You will need to be confident, tenacious and commercially savvy within the B2B arena– i.e. comfortable working closely with clients and being the main point of contact day-to-day, with the ability to spot new areas of opportunity for the agency.
Overall, you will need to have good communication skills and understand all clients' needs, to effectively deliver briefs into the creative department and manage projects through to delivery. Some strategic ability would be a bonus, but the primary requirement is for you to be able to manage day-to-day activity and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. The position requires a level of travel to and from clients' places of work, so a driving licence is required.
