A unique opportunity for an experienced Events Marketing Executive to join the marketing team of this iconic venue in Manchester.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the creation and delivery of the conference and events marketing strategy. You will be delivering innovative marketing campaigns, to drive awareness of the facilities available and increase sales and achieve revenue targets, through both new and repeat business.
Your key responsibilities will be to interpret business objectives into creative briefs and plan, execute, and deliver campaigns to achieve targeted ROI. You will work closely with the Online Marketing Executive to ensure the online activity relating to events is current and up to date. You will also be involved in monitoring competitor activity. On a weekly basis, you will be liaising with creative, media and print agencies and monitoring budgets and marketing spend.
You will already possess excellent marketing experience, gained within the conference and events sector. A full mix marketing role, you will have good knowledge of online marketing and the ability to work alongside sales teams and creative and media agencies. You will be used to working under pressure with the ability to multitask. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organisational and time-management skills are essential.
