Job Description

Taylor O’Brien is a strategic, creative business located in the heart of Manchester City Centre.

In order to grow our business and expand our offer we are seeking an experienced, motivated and intelligent Brand Strategist to join our team.
There are a number of routes to this position; you may be currently working in a strategic client side role, in a comparative agency role or operating as a freelance consultant.
Our proposition is delivered through brand strategy and commercial artistry: aligning brand, business and communications strategy and delivering a compelling truth, a vibrant identity and a powerful promise. We make a difference to clients both creatively and commercially.
We work closely as a team and our brand strategists focus on providing understanding, strategy and insight for our clients.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years in Brand Strategy in top-tier creative agency
• Leading Projects
• Client lead at Board level
• Winning clients and projects
• Across a range of sectors
• Additional client-side marketing experience desirable
• Experience of Large-Organisations
• Additional specialism desirable, for example – Business strategy/B2B/Research

Responsibilities

1. Leading Projects:
Identifying scope, objectives and deliverables
Planning, preparing and delivering strategy proposals
Running client workshops
riting briefs that provide creative team with direction and yet (crucially) allow them scope to produce appropriate creative output
Client-facing partner
Project management
2. Winning clients and projects:
Working with New Business Team, spotting and acting on opportunities
New business meetings/pitches
3. Developing own clients:
Client-lead for own portfolio
4. Developing own specialism that fits within the targets of the business and your personal ambitions.
