Web Designer – Chester - £18-25k

Well-respected web design agency, which specialises in creating social media sites and online communities, is looking for a Web Designer to join their creative team, based in Chester.

You will be responsible for producing design concepts and branding of the highest quality, and inputting into new business pitches, from a conceptual and design perspective. You will produce accurate and high quality standard-compliant website content and design solutions, in line with business requirements and specifications. This includes checking for sense, accuracy and completeness, as appropriate.

You will have an excellent understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS page layout, with JQuery skills a distinct advantage. An understanding of SEO principles would also be beneficial. Ideally, you will have worked in a design agency, working solely on website design, although candidate from a brand/client-side background will be considered. As long as you have a a strong and varied portfolio of web design projects which show a keen eye for detail and true creative flair.
