The key focus of this role is to establish strategic direction for creative and technical digital production services, improving and innovating public engagement both within the museum as well as externally, and leading both design and digital production teams.
Working across all departments you’ll lead and inspire, providing cutting edge thinking and design for all visual output; 2D, digital and 3D/exhibition ensuring the brand identity works across all channels and audiences.
With your knowledge of the future of digital communication for a range of audiences, you will lead and inspire the digital production team in developing supporting tools and services to deliver innovative content.
You’ll inherit highly skilled, multi-disciplinary teams and be expected to provide motivational leadership and an exceptional level of creativity that ensures clear consistency of the brand as well as complete integration between digital design and technical development.

• Experience of providing creative direction for high profile brands and marketing
• Experience in the development of 3D exhibition design
• Experience in managing a digital production team
• Experience in the use of digital technologies to deliver creative solutions
• A deep understanding of the use of digital communication tools and technology platforms for the delivery of public facing content across online, exhibitions and galleries
• Experience with user-experience principles and information architecture.
• Experience and developed confidence in managing negotiations
Supervise and inspire the multi–skilled design and digital production teams.
Recommend digital platforms and tools for the delivery of the content.
Work with internal departments and provide direction and consistency of the visual identity of the brand.
