An excellent opportunity for a Planning Director looking to do something a bit different for a while! We are looking for a Senior Planner to work on behalf of a leading UK agency with their client 3 days per week for 6-12 months, in Amsterdam. Please don’t turn away though if you would rather full time. This can work if you would be happy with 40% of your time in London. So, who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Planning Director to work with the Planning Team, Client Services and the agency’s Creative Director to proactively drive the strategic thinking for their client. Whilst based in Amsterdam you will be working closely with the agency back in London. You will bring an understanding of customers, brands, digital, social media and categories to the client’s business challenges. To generate insights that help formulate effective strategic and communications proposals. To be an evangelist for digital and social CRM, both within and outside the agency in a way that inspires forward thinking and great creative work.

Your planning experience will have been gained either at an integrated DM agency or digital agency, ideally with an international pedigree, bringing experience of operating across multiple markets.

Skills required:

-Strong digital experience is essential. We want someone that lives and breathes digital in their own life and who is a natural enthusiast and advocate for all forms of digital experience and technology.
-Experience of data-driven marketing an advantage, or at least the willingness to engage in it and learn (they have a strong team of data planners and analysts to support)
-A proven track record of delivering outstanding thinking at senior client and agency level
-A proven ability to take complex tasks and produce simple yet compelling strategies and tactics
