The Head of My World of Work (My WoW) Programme Management is tasked with the strategic development and implementation of Skills Development Scotland’s web service, My WoW. The role will be responsible for leading and coaching the Programme team to establish My WoW as the leading platform for developing Career Management Skills in individuals through an online universal service and to drive improvements in delivery. An experienced senior manager with strong people management skills, the successful candidate will have experience of large scale website management and working with numerous vendors / partners to reach strategic goals. Knowledge of trends and approaches within digital marketing, social media, web technologies and online business models will also be highly beneficial.

Skills Development Scotland is the national skills body for Scotland which plays a key role in driving the success of Scotland’s economic future through the delivery of the Scottish Government’s Economic and Skills Strategies. The organisation is currently going through a transformation programme to modernise the service with the aim to extend the reach and scope of their all age service, placing priority customers at the heart of delivery and ensuring that the people of Scotland can access skills support in ways that best suit them.
