Denholm’s client is a well-established charity that has an exciting new role which will help the organisation to really develop the brand and build greater awareness for their cause.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role will lead on the development and implementation of the marketing strategy across the organisation. You will provide marketing expertise to the organisation and ensure a consistent message is communicated to all key stakeholders (internal and external) of the activities and priorities of the organisation. Based from the head office, you will work closely with 35 other services across Scotland to ensure that brand guidelines are maintained. You will have scope to work across the marketing mix and bring together all communications tools to grow the membership and build awareness. This will include a digital focus on the website and social media, events and publications to ensure that a consistent and effective brand is communicated in a focused and cohesive manner.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has some experience of working within the charity sector, although this is not essential. You must have experience of working with brand communications and will bring a good generalist background. With excellent interpersonal skills you will be able to manage a variety of relationships throughout the organisation from the Chief Executive through to all levels of staff at head office and their service centres. This is an excellent role that will give the right candidate great scope to make a real impact.
