An internationally renowned investment corporation with offices all over the world is now looking to add to the Senior Management Team of its Global Project Management Office, in Edinburgh. The post holder will be tasked with managing people within the project management office. The people you will be managing will be project managers of all levels, so you will have worked as a project manager delivering and leading projects, but will since have moved into (or will want to move into) a more people management focused role. As such, the post holder will not actually be involved in project delivery, but rather managing the people who lead & deliver projects.

You will be involved in:

- Staff management
- Coaching, training, mentoring and motivating your teams
- Leading teams and project managers both in the UK and abroad (US & Europe)
- Resource management
- Identification of process improvements
- Providing and identifying development opportunities and training needs for your team members
- Hiring team members
- Performance monitoring

You should have a background in project management, ideally within the financial services or investments industry. You must also have considerable staff management experience and will want to develop your career in this direction.
