Quantum's client is one of Scotland's best regarded employers and they have a large marketing function based in their Edinburgh head office. A hugely exciting opportunity has arisen within their Marketing Insight team, for an experienced Marketing Insight Manager.
You will play a key role in the Insight Department by carrying out research and insight generating projects, both in the UK and abroad, ensuring that they result in rich insight and actionable recommendations which are understood and implemented. This will enable the business to develop effective marketing and operational strategies and world-class products and services, thereby helping to drive industry growth.
You will be responsible for delivering a programme of quantitative research - principally, this will include the measurement of marketing and other activities, research and segmentation.
You will be expected to design and carry out quantitative research and data analysis, providing in-depth findings and strong, actionable recommendations to senior managers in the marketing, digital and events departments. When necessary, you will be involved in managing research agencies in the delivery of projects in the UK and abroad.
This is a key post within the organisation, as the generation of rich insight and the understanding developed as a result will play a major role in developing marketing strategies and other activities.

• Demonstrate skills and experience within quantitative research, combined with a proven ability to add value, judgement and insight
• Show that you have a thorough understanding of strategic marketing planning
• Evaluate online and offline marketing channels and campaigns
• Demonstrate a high level of numeracy and statistical analysis skills and a proven ability to interrogate, manipulate and model data
• Use research packages such as SNAP and SPSS
• Communicate complex issues in a clear and accessible fashion
• Manage projects, agencies, people and budgets
