Denholm’s client is one of Edinburgh’s large events venues and have ambitious plans to develop its business with both corporate and public event organisers. With an exciting investment programme unfolding, there is an opportunity for a results driven sales professional to make an impact.
You will be responsible for developing event business revenue growth through new customer acquisition and the development of strong customer relationships. You will also manage existing relationships with clients that have utilised the site before to grow that income stream as well. An element of this will involve off site customer meetings and presentations so an ability to travel throughout the UK is required.
You will have business development and account management experience within venues or events and will suit someone who has worked within an existing venue, hospitality organisation or with an event business. You should be a strong negotiator, able to secure stronger commercial deals with repeat event customers, as well as bringing new business to the venue. As part of a small and dedicated team this role offers someone an opportunity to play a major role within a small but close knit team.
