Marketing Manager - Lancashire - £25-28k pro rata - 8 month contract

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading name in destination marketing in the North West on an 8 month contract. As Marketing Manager, the role requires experience of planning and delivering integrated campaigns and relevant knowledge of current digital marketing.

Key responsibilities will include:
 Delivering promotional campaigns, including the planning, co-ordination and monitoring of activity, working with creative agencies and partners to deliver impactful marketing.
 Working closely with colleagues to ensure the effective communication of the brand through off-line and digital promotion, and through copy, image and tone of voice.
 Having a commercial approach to marketing planning and delivery, so as to generate income.
 Developing online and social media capability, including digital campaign marketing.
 Liaising and working jointly with key partners such as local authorities and private sector businesses to gain their support and maximise opportunities.
 Managing consumer contact data.
 Monitoring and evaluating marketing campaigns and activity, so as to improve ROI and conversion rates.

The successful candidate will have proven marketing experience of working on integrated marketing campaigns and undertaking tactical activity along with experience of design, print production and direct marketing and sound e-marketing skills, including social media, digital channels, optimisation and on-line PR. Knowledge of the tourism industry and its relevance to the local economy and experience of working with agencies and service providers is highly beneficial.
