As CRM Manager you’ll be tasked with working closely with clients to develop and deliver CRM/eCRM strategies that will help develop propositions that drive customer value and engagement. To be considered for the role you must therefore boast a proven record of developing CRM/eCRM campaigns for large brands and will have a clear ability to identify actionable insights from the data and translate this to clients. You’ll therefore need proven skills in data acquisition, segmentation and targeting, measurement and evaluation, data storage, list buying and so on.
This experience could have been gained either in an agency or in-house environment, the key is that you have a commercial focus and a natural ability to deliver CRM/eCRM advice to clients, which results in campaigns that clearly add to their bottom line. As you’d expect, you’ll need to have brilliant communications skills, an ability to juggle multiple projects and to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
