PR Account Manager, PR Agency, Cambridgeshire, Salary £23K-£29K

Our client, leading PR agency in the east is looking for PR Account Manager to join their consumer team, working on a number of exciting household brand names!

This role would be suited to an experienced PR professional with a wealth of experience who wants to lead and be a part of a forward thinking team and agency

Key responsibilities:
• Managing relations with clients
• Developing creative PR ideas to implement on behalf of clients, including online and word of mouth
• Proposal writing and being part of new business pitch teams
• Daily liaison with national media
• Writing articles, features, press releases, newsletters, etc
• Event organisation and management

Experience required;
• Consumer media relations
• Strong writing experience, ideally journalistic
• New business experience, including writing proposals and being part of a pitch team
• Some familiarity with online PR, including using social networking as a PR tool and experience of word of mouth campaigns

This role would be ideal for an experienced PR or journalist or anyone who wants to make the move from a consumer marketing that has gained some previous experience within PR.
