Our client is a major brand in the Financial Services Sector. They have dominance within their field and are at the forefront of digital marketing for lead generation and sales. They have an outstanding marketing department which is cutting edge and drives a considerable amount of the overall business for the company.

The marketing department is of considerable size and they are continuing to grow. They are currently looking for a Senior Search Executive to work with the search team, specialising in SEO. The person will drive traffic from search links across the major search engines to their main products and website properties using the best SEO techniques. This will include copywriting from an on and off line perspective, building links and promotion of their social media activity. As well as search engine activity, introducing and growing relationships with 3rd party media owners will complement the search based activity.

From an SEO point of view, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

- Analysing competitors, with back link analysis and competitor link analysis
- Reporting the variances in keywords on search engines
- Seek 3rd party sites and develop link building relationships
- Develop content to act as link bait
- Work with the team to develop this content in creative meetings
- Work with the PR department
- Optimise KW positions
- Data collection, analysis and reporting
- Work with social media channels to aid SEO

Essential areas of expertise include:

- Passion for online marketing is a must
- Grow relationships and maintain them
- Understand and optimise website content
- You must have a grasp of programming languages like HTML
- You will be creative in writing
- Outstanding communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience in the search and social media arena
- Google analytics experience would be beneficial
