Our client, a well-known and popular brand, are looking for a Senior Agency Sales person to join their Agency Sales Team. This is a sales role where the successful applicant will be responsible for contacting agencies on a daily basis, from Planner/Buyer to Account Director level, generating new sales opportunities and attending face to face meetings. This position requires a person with an innovative and tenacious approach, a strong understanding of online media and excellent agency contacts. You will be supported with an existing account base but you must also have a proven ability to create leads from a variety of sources. You will work closely with the Agency Sales Director, the Agency Sales Team, the Ad Ops Team and the wider media department so you must be able to communicate and work effectively within a team as well as on your own initiative.
Key responsibilities will include:
• To develop and maintain relationships with existing media agencies.
• To present, negotiate & secure deals at a Junior and senior level.
• Work closely with the Ad Operations team to ensure accurate tracking and implementation of your own campaigns.
• Responsibility for individual and team targets.
• Regular reporting on targets to line manager.
You have a proven track record in online sales with extensive experience in sales, preferably at with contacts across the Aegis group, Starcomm MediaVest and Universal. You are well-educated with excellent communication and presentation skills. You are able to manage and enjoy working in a high-pressure and ever-changing environment.
