A brand new post has been created for an Account Executive within a growing digital marketing agency within the leisure and tourism industry. Based in Edinburgh city centre, the company is currently thriving and therefore looking to expand the company’s client services team to better service their array of blue-chip customers.
Job Description:
We are currently looking for an Account Executive.
You will join a profitable company that prides itself in offering a quality service to their clients. The Account Management team is responsible for ensuring that they maintain good relationships with their customers and provide regular communications and updates on the work carried out on their behalf.
The successful candidate will work within an Account Management team of 5 and provide support to the team in communicating with & reporting to clients, as well as assisting with some elements of administration which ensures that the company continues to run in a smooth, efficient & professional manner.
This is a junior / trainee role within the company, reporting directly to the Head of Account Management. The position is ideally suited to an ambitious university graduate who has some digital industry exprience, keen to work within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management (60%)
Producing monthly performance reports for clients, using web analytics packages including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.
Assisting Account Managers in maintaining frequent communications & relationships with the company’s existing clients
Providing support to the Account Management team & help to coordinate work & communications with clients whilst other Account Managers are out of the office.
Assisting in preparing & proof-reading sales proposals
Organising travel needs for Account Management team as required
Admin (40%)
Chiefly responsible for incoming calls & mail
Office stationery & supplies
Responsible for managing staff expenses
Responsible for office expenses / petty cash
Manage office suppliers
Ensuring office environment is professional & presentable
Organising company social events
Skills required:
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent written skills
A passion for travel & leisure industry; as well as a proven interest in digital marketing
Attention to detail
Polite and professional with an excellent telephone manner
Previous customer service / telephone experience desirable
Previous marketing / digital experience desirable but not essential
Understanding of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel & Word
Knowledge of online marketing – in particular Google Analytics – advantageous but not essential
Remuneration:
Competitive salary; £16,000 + BOE
