Our client is an award winning digital marketing agency based in Cheshire who work with a range of the UK’s top brands in maximising customer conversion on their websites. They interrogate data and combine email marketing with customer relationships to help customer acquisition and CRM. They are looking for a full time data analyst to take the next step up in their career.

This opportunity would be absolutely ideal for anyone at a junior to mid level with commercial awareness and a hunger for strategy. This will allow them to develop into a more senior role with this organisation.

Responsibilities:

- It is essential that you create an in-depth understanding of their client base
- You will take control of the data analysis across the online marketing activity
- Once you have compiled the results, deliver them to the agency’s clients
- Use the data and results to feed into the client’s strategy
- Work in partnership with the other departments including tech team, account management and email department
- Effective use of data, comparing to external sources, profiling activity, analytical tools, software, technology – all in aid of driving clients strategy
- Report creation, dashboard development and market analytics
- Work on optimisation experiments and testing to work out the best conversion of client’s websites

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Be degree educated
- SAS experience is essential for application to progress
- Be an exceptional rather than average employee
- Worked in a target driven business, preferably ecommerce, in a business analytical role with a marketing team
- Have built a dashboard, templates and reports all to aid the analytics process
- Have data mined in the past in order to create segmentations
- Have a background in mathematics, statistics and numbers
- Be a great communicator, work in a team and co-workers and present your findings in a professional capacity
- Be able to self-motivate and work well autonomously
