Account Manager
Permanent, immediate start
This role is crucial for the development and growth of client relationships and
the business. Initially working solely with public sector accounts, the role
focuses on being a lead contact for clients as well as supporting a Senior
Account Manager on larger clients, be the safe pair of hands and deliver
projects on time and to budget. You will plan, implement, coordinate, monitor
and measure results orientated marketing campaigns working with in-house
teams and third party suppliers. You will produce regular proposals, contact
and status reports to clients, attend meetings & pitches, deliver presentations,
maintain good levels of contact, utilise account development tactics, project
manage and log activity on to the internal agency-management software. In
addition you will attend weekly account planning meetings and maintain an
online account management tool. Working to financial targets for each client
you will take ownership and responsibility for each client’s performance in
your group. Due to the expansion plans of the agency, the role will also entail
an element of new business activity.
Requirements - essential
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, meticulous attention to
detail, very strong organisational and planning skills, positive, punctual,
dependable, flexible. Good at proof reading, multitasking and managing own
time. Ideally with 3 – 4 years minimum experience of agency account
management and knowledge / experience of working with the public sector.
