A successful, leading not for profit Worcestershire organisation is now seeking an experienced PR Officer to join their busy PR office. Working as part of a team, your key responsibilities will include researching relevant stories to generate positive 'feel good' stories of interest, producing lively, interesting copy for press releases and feature articles to suit a wide range of audiences and incorporate key messages throughout the organisation. Other responsibilities will include assisting in the planning and delivery of PR campaigns to suit bespoke projects to maximise publicity opportunities, ensuring that the Group's key messages are incorporated and communicated across the organisation efficiently and effectively and managing all proactive and reactive media, ensuring the continuation, development and maintenance of contacts with regional and trade press and external agencies.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ability to demonstrate a broad range of experience from a public relations and journalist background and will have very strong writing and creative skills to ensure that you are consistently providing clear and accurate information to staff, local audiences and the media.
