Denholm’s client is a dynamic and expanding digital agency with offices in Glasgow and London. The main business development activity is generated from Glasgow but with enormous potential for client expansion in their London office, they’re looking to employ an experienced Business Developer to expand their existing client base and identify new sectors UK-wide into which the business can expand.
Based in Glasgow, you'll liaise closely with the current Business Development Team & Director of Strategy, and will be responsible for identifying, targeting and securing new clients for the agency through a variety of development methods including telephone, email and social media.
Applicants must have a proven track record, preferably in the digital sector, (or at a minimum, the creative sector) of developing new business, and should be comfortable building long-term relationships with key decision makers. Knowledge and experience in the digital sector is a real bonus but not essential.
Responsibilities will include identifying & contacting targets; writing proposals and credential presentations; pitching to prospective clients and maintaining on-going client relationships.
The successful candidate will have impeccable people skills as well as creative/technical web knowledge. You will be extremely organised and tenacious, and above all ready for an opportunity to join a friendly and close-knit team.
