Marketing Administrator, Chester, £14k - £15k

A market-leader in the retail and wholesale trade are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their busy ranks on an ongoing, full time contract basis.

Based in Chester with a heritage of over twenty years, they have achieved steady growth over the years and are now recognised as one of Europe’s biggest companies within their field!

The role of Marketing Administrator will involve supporting the Marketing department with all day to day administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities will include…
* To assist in the updating, development and logistics of Marketing services and literature throughout the Company.
* The organisation, control and distribution of POS and request from the supply chain.
* Checking of company marketing materials before distribution.
* To update and maintain customer contracts on internal systems.
* To issue marketing services to customers and assist with the support of these.
* Data inputting into various packages.
* Issuing of company literature to customers.
* To handle all calls (both internal and external) with confidence and deal with queries and problems in a polite and professional manner.
* Preperation of samples – labelling, prepping, packaging and distribution.
* To assist in tele-based marketing research/feedback, gathering feedback from customers.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in marketing, and ideally previous experience of working within a marketing department. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for errors is essential, as is the ability to maintain focus for accuracy when completing tasks. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with users across all levels of ability and seniority, by phone, email and face to face are also a must have.
