Senior Web Developer (PHP) – Lancashire - £30-35k

Well-respected digital marketing agency, based in Wigan, is looking for a Senior Web Developer with top-notch PHP skills to join their technical team.

Your responsibility will be to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget as all project quotes are based on the timescales given by the developer working on the project. As a senior PHP Developer, you’ll need great multi-tasking skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and pressure. You will report to the head of digital but work closely with the creative and development teams across multiple divisions of the business in order to deliver successful projects. You will be a team player, who will be keen to learn and try new technologies and be able to switch seamlessly between programming languages.

Do you meet the following requirements?

- Over 5 years CSS/PHP/MySQL development experience
- Experience of Linux command line and Apache
- Excellent Javascript and Jquery skills
- Experienced in building applications for scalability and high traffic
- E-commerce site development experience
- Fluent in XML and JSONP
- App/mobile development and Facebook platform experience would be an advantage
- A genuine passion for all things ‘code’
