Our client is looking for a Junior to MW User Interface Designer / Information Architect to join their talented team in this fast-growing email marketing business.

The company, located near Birmingham Airport and not five minutes from the M42, is based in the heart of England and central to all major routes through the country. They own, develop and support every part of their solution, for top marketing agencies worldwide, and have offices in England and Florida.

The Junior User Interface Designer / Information Architect will contribute to the on-going development of the email marketing web application and, working for the lead UI designer and supported by a technical team, the Junior User Interface Designer will be responsible for both developing and testing new and existing areas of the application. Using front-end skills, you will collaborate to produce highly interactive, user centred features.

You will have a passion for usability and web technologies and you will be able to combine this with strong visual and interactive design skills. You will need to work to deadlines, be able to pick up new skills as you work and have great attention to detail - your portfolio should demonstrate this!

As Junior User interface designer, it is essential that you have

• HTML and CSS
• Experience of Photoshop, Fireworks or Illustrator
• A relevant (Design or Computer Science) degree or equivalent industry experience
• A portfolio
