We enjoy a busy, sociable team environment and as part of our planned growth for 2012, we are looking for a Medical Writer with experience of Healthcare Communications and Marketing to join our new office in London.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have a life sciences education to a high classification and who ideally have gained their experience in a healthcare communications agency. You will have a flair for writing persuasive copy and will mix this seamlessly with your scientific knowledge and ability to research.

This is a varied role and you will be expected to produce original, innovative content which can be utilised for tenders, presentations, printed materials and digital communications such as e-details. In producing these materials, you will be expected to research assigned projects and develop technical materials which are scientifically accurate and also appropriate for the target audience. You will then be responsible for fact checking; including particulars such as referencing before the materials are sent for proof reading. It would be advantageous if you have a genuine interest in digital tools as your role will see you editing copy for use within various technologies, such as iPhone and iPad applications.

You will be expected to be a confident communicator and able to liaise with a variety of internal departments, such as design, account handling and development. Moreover, you will be expected to conduct your own research in order to keep abreast of industry advancements and to then proactively share your knowledge with the team.

There will also be some client facing responsibilities within the post, so you should have a calm, collected manner and be able to put forward your points in an articulate style. You should be incredibly organised and able to work to deadlines; prioritising and managing your own workload, allowing for flexibility.
