One of the most highly respected integrated agencies in the Midlands is looking to further develop it’s already glittering client portfolio and needs a proven Business Development Director to facilitate this.
In this role you’ll be responsible for all aspects of business development - researching new targets, investigating creative ways in which to approach them, getting into see them to scope out potential needs, pitching etc. All with the support of an outstanding creative team, together with first rate strategic insight, not to mention a portfolio of case histories that most agencies can only dream of. All in all, a compelling proposition.
To be considered, you must have a passion for business development and a clear ability to quickly develop new relationships, win trust and convert this in to sales. However, applicants will be considered either from an existing agency new business role, or account directors with a strong commercial edge who are looking to move into this area and who demonstrate all the skills required to do so. Either way, agency experience is essential as you’ll need to be adept at engaging with clients at all levels and spotting opportunities at every corner.
