Role: Business Development Manager
Responsible to: Managing Director
Salary: Uncapped OTE
Location: Sheffield based but required to travel Nationwide

Due to our continued growth and evolution, we are looking for a bright, ambitious and seasoned Business Development Manager to join our UK team. - Have a proven track record of sales within the digital sector

- Have worked with Blue Chip and SME clients, having relationships at Senior Management and Board level

- Be willing to travel throughout the UK and Internationally

- Thrive on tough revenue targets

- Have at least 5 years experience in the Digital sector

- Be professional and client focused

- Have the ability to negotiate and close deals

The main responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be:

- Development of new business relationships, generation and negotiate new income for GRM to an agreed annual target

- Presenting GRM to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails

- You will be expected to spend 80% of your time out of the office in meetings. Travel is a major factor and is predicted to be predominantly UK with some overnight stops. International travel can be expected from time to time

- Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting

- Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; account management and development

- You will have individual responsibility for new business, and are expected to self-manage, however, you will be part of a growing team of people and will be involved in the development and growth of this team. Support is available by the managing and sales directors for complex large pitches and strategies

- As a representative of GRM at industry events and tradeshows, your professional manner and polished appearance will aid your intention of gaining new business leads and contacts
- Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current using CRM software

- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation

- A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment (ROI) objectives

- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner

- Keeping abreast of issues affecting digital agencies and collecting competitor intelligence

- Ensuring GRM remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients
