PHP Web Developer with HTML & CSS skills based in Glasgow is required. The Drum, is looking for a Web Developer to help build on the success of the group's digital channels including The Drum website and its 20 events sites.

The ideal candidate will join an existing team to work primarily on TheDrum.co.uk and the Group’s awards and events online portfolio. The role will involve helping develop The Drum into a mobile friendly site, creating extended functionality for users and subscribers and developing features and functionality across the events sites.

The Drum website has grown rapidly over last 12 months and is now the biggest UK marketing services online destination and this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic media operation with ambitious expansion plans.

The ideal candidate will ideally have at commercial or agency experience and core skills including the following:

Strong procedural and OO PHP skills
Strong SQL skills with emphasis on relational database design
Drupal experience with knowledge of building custom modules
Knowledge of the Smarty template engine
Knowledge of Linux, Nginx, Apache, Varnish, Solr would be highly advantageous
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Javascript
