You'll need to be something of an all-rounder as you work across a number of exciting online projects. Your passion for new media technology will mean you're always on the look out for the next big thing. With this passion, you will inspire change and help us incorporate new technologies whilst ensuring best practice, usability and accessibility for all.

While the role of the digital designer is more creative than technical, you do need to know your LAMP from your Flash as well as a working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript and JQuery. However it's Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and Indesign that will be your weapons of choice.

You'll be responsible for how the schuh brand looks online, working with our e-commerce team to drive all projects from initial concept through to completion. This means you'll be required to work under pressure whilst retaining the highest possible standards to ensure that great design is at the forefront of all our brand communications.

You’ll have at least two years experience working in a similar role, ideally in a retail environment but we're not that fussy so long as you have an extensive portfolio of digital design work. You will be working alongside a team of talented and dedicated graphic designers to bring the schuh brand to life.
