West Midlands or Leicestershire location

Award winning events and video production company, with a wide range of clients from large iconic brands to SME’s, are looking for an Events Account Manager to be based in either in the West Midlands or Leicestershire

Managing projects from start to finish you will co-ordinate their creative and production teams to come up with and deliver inspiring solutions to their clients communication needs. You will have a proven record of having delivered successful projects (ideally productions) with tight budget and organisational controls. You will help grow business by building upon strong relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities. You will be comfortable selling and presenting face-to-face at a high level. You will also be happy travelling to serve and deliver – they have a large number of London based clients and overseas working (especially on delivery) could well be entailed

You will probably be a graduate and with an understanding of and a passion for events. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the strategic role of internal communications and how their proposition supports this area. You have experience of building and maintaining excellent client relationships. You will not be phased by working with big names and will be equally inspired with smaller ones too. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated. They require a minimum of 5 years experience gained in a similar environment. You will have strong client facing skills at a senior/board level. You will have excellent communication, brilliant interpersonal skills and experience of building and maintaining excellent client relationships. You have the ability to perform well under pressure with massive project management ability. Your attention to detail will be second to none. You will be as happy rolling up your sleeves to make sure a deadline is hit as you are talking communication strategy.
Due to the nature of the role and travel involved you must hold a UK driving licence and live within a 60 minute commuting distance of the office in either West Midlands or Leicestershire.
