Since its inception in 2006 the company has gone through rapid expansion and is looking for a focussed and pro-active Production Traffic Manager to provide a central management point for our continually evolving production department.
The role reports directly to the Head of Production, and will act as a central point of organisation for the busy team of Producers.
This is a new position with plenty of opportunity for progression. They are looking for someone who can help to create and shape the role.
The role would suit a Production Manager or Traffic Manager with a proven track record in managing a busy and varied production department. Applicants must be highly organised and adept at managing multiple projects. The successful applicant will ideally have a background which reflects our diverse output across live action, graphics and digital content, for both brand and agency clients, in the commercial and terrestrial broadcast sectors.
Skills and Experience
First class verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational abilities.
Eye for detail.
Professional, responsible and punctual.
Articulate, numerate and commercially aware.
A high level of computer literacy with an in depth knowledge of Excel.
At least three years experience as a Production Manager in a busy production environment.
Calm approach, flexible with can-do attitude.
Familiarity with the capabilities of Creative Suite, FCP, After Effects and 3D packages.
Detailed understanding of production and post production processes.
Co-ordinating the workflow of the production department.
Managing the makelist and keeping detailed schedules of key delivery and invoicing dates.
Managing allocation of producers to projects.
Working with producers and management to agree projected margins for each job.
Overseeing all budgets and reporting to finance.
Ensuring all jobs are properly logged, contracted and invoiced.
Ensuring production processes are followed at all times by all production staff.
To work with the Head of Graphics to allocate in-house design resource effectively.
Manage the flow of freelancers and staff availability to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
