We are looking for a Senior Planner to join a leading West Midlands agency on a permanent basis to shape highly effective marketing strategies across a broad base of blue chip brands!

This agency have recently been listed in the Top 10 regional agencies and quite rightly so. They take the business of helping their clients thrive and grow very seriously and focus on marketing & brand solutions that make a big commercial difference. They are based in a suburb of Birmingham, in funky offices which house approx 70 people. The client base is varied across FMCG, Retail, Construction and Not For Profit.

The purpose of this role is to carry out consumer research and analysis to enable the Account and Client Services team to produce highly effective marketing strategies / solutions - with the aim of winning new business and growing existing accounts. You will also act as guardian to the Agency brand itself. Whilst the role does not have any direct reports, the Planner will be responsible for delegating work to other members of the Client Services team and using additional resource throughout the business, as appropriate.

Your days will typically be spent undertaking research, planning strtegy, attending new business pitches and Marketing the agency brand. You need to be a driven person who can engage people easily and inspire people with your experience of communications planning and brand planning.

Agency experience is essential as is a current understanding and passion for the digital space!
