Flash Developer & ActionScript Programmer

A Mid-Weight Flash Developer required for an award winning team of creative's and developers within a creative agency in Derbyshire producing 3D visualisations and architectural CGI, including product visualisation, event design, fly-throughs, interactive tours, product demonstrations, training guides and print layouts.  Their CGI visualisations and animations are used across a broad range of sectors for various blue chip clients in the rail, military, motor, engineering and aerospace industries.

As this is initial going to be a standalone role, your knowledge and hands-on skills as a Flash Coder must be second to none.  This is an important appointment for the agency and they will be relying on your expertise in Flash to produce excellent work for their clients.  You will be a most valued member of staff and will be working with a group of positive, forward thinking individuals.  In the future they are looking to build a team of Flash Coders, they like to promote from within, it is hoped that the person who is appointed in this role will go on to head up this division.

The ideal candidate will have the drive and determination to get involved in various new projects and be willing to learn new skills and face new challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for design/development and be able to work individually and within a team. It is essential that all candidates have first class communication skills - both written and verbal. Candidates will be very enthusiastic and have a desire to drive their software forward with new ideas and developments. You will be required to provide a portfolio of your work along with your application

Skills:
 Flash Programming – including the coding & creation of new software developments also the modification of existing source code
 Web Programming
 Mobile/Smart Phone Applications – coding knowledge in this field would be useful, not essential
 Database Design

Also:
 Good eye for Design / Layout
 Knowledge of the Adobe suite. (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
Understand delivery onto SCORM compliant Learning Platforms would also be useful
