SAM required by leading integrated agency to work on a challenging retail account, with specific responsibility for high street marketing activities. You will be mainly concerned with delivering their annual retail promotion and communication plan, but also expected to develop the account in other areas of the client’s business – and the proven ability to do this is essential. You will also be responsible for project delivery according to the agency’s usual high standards, working within set budgets and timeframes, and maintaining day-to-day client contact in order to strengthen the relationship and manage expectations in line with the agency’s commitment to high quality, but profitable, client service.
A retail track record is essential as the account is characterized by high volumes, tight deadlines and impossible expectations, and you should be committed to high standards of creativity, and also able to maintain high levels of production, working at a fast pace. An interest in sport and previous experience in professional betting/gaming marketing or - at the very least - a personal interest in this area, which translates into social gambling, would be helpful.
