As Digital Communications Manager in the External Affairs Unit, you’ll work closely with the Head of Digital Communications in the Mayor’s office to develop and deliver an innovative, ambitious and high performing digital communications strategy for the Mayor of London.
You’ll manage a small team, comprising a Senior Digital Marketing Officer, a Digital Content Editor, a Video Producer and a Social Media Executive. You’ll also manage and develop the GLA’s email communications programme, developing and implementing acquisition, retention and automation strategies.
You should bring experience of digital and social media campaigns, content marketing, digital advertising, analytics, optimisation, channel growth and channel strategy development. You should have line-management experience and be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, agencies and suppliers. You should have experience managing small budgets and procurement exercises.
If you’re enthusiastic and passionate about digital communications, interested in London and its government and keen to tell Londoners about the Mayor’s work, this could be a perfect opportunity for you.
