My copy builds brands, from packaging labels to large websites. I write for every customer touch point because I'm that rare thing: both a 'creative' and 'long' copywriter with a dyed in the wool responsive agency background. If you're a design consultancy or an agency, I can slip into the process where you need a hand. If you're a direct client, you'll find my unusual skills are hugely helpful in this online offline world, giving you a consistent 'voice' appropriate for every context. And if you need to pinpoint that strategic verbal spot in your market, I can help you work out what you need to say and how to say it.
The new Bulgari Hotel & Spa in London, which opened in June 2012. Brand-building website copy and spa brochure.
A 'Brand Story ' for Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. It involved running brand language workshops with the Executive Team and heads of dept to create a suite of messages and establish the right tone of voice to convey their brand personality.
A 'Brand Story' for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, as they changed their name from the RSAMD and embarked on curriculum reform. I subsequently wrote a corporate brochure, the primary pages of their website and provided a tone of voice guidelines to empower staff doubling up as writers within the Conservatoire.
Starhotels. Italian hotel chain. I wrote the portal website and 22 mini sites for their whole chain, launched in 2011 by Sedley Place Digital.
Copy for the new Glenmorangie Visitor Centre, opening summer 2011.

Cairngorms National Park Authority

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
Star Hotels Italy
Raplh Trustees Ltd (The Grove; The Athenauem; The runnymede-on-thames; Greengarden House)
I've won many creative awards over the years. The most recent is my part in the Gold DBA for the Equal Exchange range of products, designed by Good in Glasgow. The copy-led design was unique for 67 SKUs, so that each packet and jar expresses each product's unique USP coupled with the feel-good factor of uber Fair Trade. Sales increased by 28%; exports by 300%.
