Every NFL team gets a bye week to rest up. This week is bye week for the Seattle Seahawks, but a new social campaign thinks that Seahawks fans need a break just as much as the players do.
Delta Air Lines has launched ‘Come Back a Better Fan’, an extension of its 12Status fan engagement campaign that gives Seattle fans the opportunity to earn miles through the Delta SkyMiles program for every Seahawks passing yard at home and away games.
Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner tweeted that he's looking for the biggest Seahawks fans to give away Delta flights so fans can take a bye week of their own and ‘Come Back a Better Fan’ in time for their Oct. 22 game.
The message by Wagner states: “You deserve a break, just as much as the players do…Tell me an interesting story about how deep your fandom goes.”
Fans could leave a message for Wagner at 1-833-BYE-Week telling him why they're the Seahawks’ biggest fan and why they deserve a bye week too. The winner is announced Oct. 15 on Twitter.
