TimeLooper is a virtual reality app experience for Apple and Android devices that lets viewers experience historical moments in global history. This campaign was created for The Drum in partnership with Pitch@Palace.

The brief was to select a brand from the technology startups shortlisted for Pitch@Palace and create an ad to bring humanity to technology, and highlight how these technologies can enhance our lives and bring people together.

TSWCreative decided to try and humanise tech by playing with elements of nostalgia in Timelooper's marketing material. Given the fact that nostalgia is an emotion exclusively associated with people, the team decided that a machine or software that was associated with nostalgia would seem all the more human to users. The work took the form of a short series of travel posters, advertising the momentous politics of 2015 as a holiday destination to TimeLooper users.
