This new Spanish-language spot for Verizon shows the benefits of the brand's cell network. Created by The Community, 'Marathon' features a features a Spanish-speaking man cheering on his wife as she runs a marathon. His daughter appears alongside him, while his in-laws have joined the moment via FaceTime - but poor service threatens to spoil the moment.

Thomas Middleditch, Verizon’s spokesperson, swoops in alongside Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Mendez, who the brand has billed as 'Thomas but in Español,' to save the day. The duo provides the family with a new phone that connects to Verizon Unlimited, allowing the moment to carry on without another hitch.
