The Madden NFL 20 game for EA Sports has been out for a few weeks, and now it’s time for a few of the featured players to shine in their own ads for the game.
The new follow up creative includes a series of vignettes that tell quick, humorous stories of the new game modes for Madden NFL 20 that come to life through the football stars in the comfort of a player’s living room.
The first shows how a winning gamer can steal another player’s team members. A guy sitting on a couch sees that he has lost and will also lose star player Alvin Kamara, who happens to be sitting next to him on the couch. As Kamara leaves to join the other team, there are awkward goodbyes and embraces.
In ‘Victory Bath’ a player is getting ready to start a college playoff game as USC and gets doused in Gatorade by former Trojan JuJu Smith-Schuster, who claims the soaked gamer can drink his shirt if he gets thirsty.
In ‘Arm Cannon,’ a gamer upgrades quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ arm, but Mahomes, who is standing in the living room, says his arm doesn’t feel different. Until he throws a real ball to the gamer, who is blown through the wall.
‘Create a Superstar’ finds Kamara and Smith-Schuster standing behind a gamer as he picks facial features for his custom player. The result is “beautiful” for both of them and awkward for the gamer.
